NAAC PEER TEAM VISIT REPORT

26th and 27th September 2018 NAAC Peer Team visited Smt. Vatsalabai Naik Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Pusad for the third cycle. The Peer Team comprised of Honorable Prof. Valerian Rodrigues, National Fellow-ICSSR, Department of Political Science, Mangalore University (Chairperson), Prof. Narender Kumar, Department of Commerce, M.D. University, Rohtak, Haryana (Member Coordinator), Prof. Sumayaa Dawood, Principal Thassim Beebi Abdul Kadir College for Women, Ramnathpuram, Tamil Nadu (Member). In the morning session of 26th September 2018 the Peer Team visited the College and observed the Power Point Presentations of the Principal, Dr. Ganesh T. Patil, and the Heads of various departments- Home Science, Languages, Social Science, Home Economics and Commerce. In the noon session the Peer Team interacted with the Management regarding the Perspective plan of the College in Lunch on Meeting. On this occasion the President of JSPM Honorable Shri. Jai Sudhakarrao Naik, Shri. Deepak Asegaonkar, Former Principal of the College Dr. Uttam Rudrawar showed their precious presence. In the same session The Peer Team visited and observed the activities of College Library, Sports Department, Health Centre, Canteen and Girls Hostel. The Peer Team also interacted with the students, Alumni and Parents and sought feedback from these stakeholders. The Peer Team also met IQAC Coordinator and Members to seek the policies and Perspective plan. At evening the students and alumni of the College presented cultural programme in which Banjara Dance was highly appreciated by the Peer Team.

On 27th September the Peer Team visited Manoharrao Naik Study Circle, Rain Water Harvesting and Waste Management Projects, Green Practices and Society Oriented Extension Activities and Best Practices of the Departments of Home Science, Home Economics and Rural Handicrafts. In the Exit Meet the Chairperson of the Peer Team Prof. Rodrigues addressed and guided the College regarding the value based and quality based process of NAAC. On this occasion Dr. Uttam Rudrawar, College Development Committee Member Dr. Leena Chitlange, Teaching and Non-teaching Staff showed their presence. Exit Meet came to an end with the singing of Pasayadana by Dr. Sadhana Mohod.
